Loudoun approves FY 2027 tourism-grant awards and keeps program materials online

The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors has approved the county’s Restricted Transient Occupancy Tax Tourism Grants for fiscal year 2027. The county says the grants are intended to support local tourism events and initiatives that bring visitors to Loudoun.

The county awarded 15 grants totaling $346,980.40. Its official announcement identifies the recipients, award amounts and the events or initiatives the funding will support. The list includes music and cultural events, sports and equestrian activities, agritourism projects, historical programming and destination-marketing efforts.

Loudoun’s Tourism Grant Program is open annually to eligible nonprofits, municipalities and businesses located in the county. The program is designed for projects that attract regional and national visitors, increase overnight stays in local hotels or improve Loudoun’s attractiveness and marketability as a destination. Qualifying projects may include attractions, events, programs and marketing campaigns.
